I am listening to what is probably the last iteration of the mastering of Renatus. Maybe have a tweak or two but then I will be done. So that means that I've got to figure out how it is getting to all of you. Have no fear - that is the plan!
I am setting the official release of Renatus on Easter Monday, March 28th. The digital version of the album will be free. I am not charging for it. I will make a physical CD available as well for those of you who like to have the actual physical CD in hand and I will price it reasonably, but you don't have to pay at all the digital route. More details will be available closer to time.
Although the official release is on March 28th, I will be releasing songs one by one online during the Sundays of Lent. So, the first one released will be a week from this Sunday, February 14th. Ah! Valentine's day. So think of it as a big "I love you" from Last Rites! You could use it as a part of your soundtrack for that romantic date you were planning...guaranteed to make an impression!
Oh but that is not all! Oh no that is not all! Not only will I have Renatus available for free download, I will make available all previous releases from Last Rites even if they were previously not free. Not only that, but I will be giving away any physical copies of releases that I have left. Last Rites is a ministry and I feel that it is important to not withhold anything that could help bring a soul closer to God.
The goal is to have the back catalog done by March 28th as well, but I'll keep you all posted on that as well.
Anyway - back to your regularly scheduled Saturday. And keep an eye out on February 14th for the first track from Renatus!
