This post marks the beginning of Phrygian Phish! Everything is up and somewhat running and we are now officially open for business!
And the first announcement I have is that my music will be on display at the Anime USA convention this weekend. I am sponsoring a very good friend of mine, Howard Brandon, and his tabletop games over there. He will be using unique musical compositions in his games that I wrote specifically for his table top adventures. He will also have a mix of other music that I have composed to demonstrate the breadth of my writing ability. The link to the event:
If you happen to be going, be sure to look out for Howard's Star Wars game. I, unfortunately, will not be there.
BTW, I actually do not game, but I am very aware and familiar with gaming. I would like to see more music used in table top games because I think that it enhances the emotional aspect of gaming that I think is very crucial in order to "get the point" of gaming, so to speak. I have plans on writing more gaming music for another game master for a convention in March. As plans emerge, I will keep you all posted.
If you want to catch an interview of me with Rho Pi Gamma, the gamer's podcast, check out this link here:
The interview is about halfway through. Unfortunately, you cannot hear the host. But if you want to give it a listen feel free.
More ideas in the pipeline, and I will post as I get to them.
